Child, Adolescent, and Parent Psychologist

Even the youngest struggle with various difficulties. Often, these are rebellion, aggression, anger, or problems adapting to new situations (moving, new kindergarten, school, the appearance of siblings, parents’ divorce, or traumatic moments, e.g., car accident, death of someone close).

Parents are not always able to handle these problems by just reading guides or internet forums. Every child is different, has different experiences, temperament, and this causes each to react differently to new situations.

It’s worth consulting any abnormalities or changes in a child’s behavior with a psychologist.

The psychologist helps parents in solving small and big difficulties related to raising children and assists in building good, healthy relationships between parents and children of all ages.

We help with:

  • child behavior disorders
  • emotional-social and adaptive problems
  • anxiety states (fear of darkness, phobias)
  • crisis intervention in situations of crisis, experiencing traumatic psychological trauma (traffic accident, death of a close person, mourning, PTSD-post-traumatic stress disorder)
  • determining the child’s readiness to start school

Child and parent psychologists are also helpful for:

  • future parents who have many concerns and questions about what to expect after childbirth and want to prepare as best as possible for the role of mother and father
  • parents experiencing a marriage crisis caused by the birth of a child
  • mothers experiencing “baby blues,” low mood, tearfulness, postpartum depression
  • women who have become pregnant unintentionally
